The DON’TS: (1) Don’t roll your eyes; (2) Don’t question another person’s motives; (3) Don’t hurl insults. The DO’s are: (1) Do make people feel seen; (2) Do allow people to be heard; (3) Do stand up for people on the other side when they are trashed by people on your side. Former U.S. Congressman Ric Keller served eight years in the U.S. House of Representatives. He chaired the House Higher Education subcommittee and served on the Judiciary and Education committees. Today, he is an author, speaker, TV commentator, and attorney. His new book, Chase the Bears: Little Things to Achieve Big Dreams, is now available everywhere books are sold.
