Too Many Job Opportunities – Not Enough Workers

INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed Joseph Meuse

Price and Meuse discuss how to turn a business around in a culture of low expectations.
It was eported earlier this week: There were nearly 1 million more job openings than expected in July. Available positions totaled 11.24 million for the month, well in excess of the 10.3 million FactSet estimate. The July numbers reinforced that there is still a considerable shortage of workers for available positions, with openings outnumbering available workers by just shy of a 2-to-1 margin.

Attracting talented people has never been more difficult. How to find and retain quality people.

After years on Wall Street, Joseph Meuse created Business GPS because he was looking to use his experience and business acumen to help struggling businesses. Enter COVID-19, and his company is helping hundreds of businesses get government loans, decrease their commercial rental payments, negotiate their loans to better terms – all on contingency.  Joe will discuss with the Price of Business what small businesses need to do right now to ensure that they can have a merry and green 2022.

A serial entrepreneur over the past 30 years, Mr. Meuse has started and built over a dozen successful businesses and in the process has also helped thousands of other US companies execute on their business plans. Sectors of experience span financial services, investment banking, accounting and finance, IT, business consulting and legal services, giving Joe a broad perspective on best business practices and how they can be most effectively transferred across categories.  As a thought leader in business transformation and financial management, Mr. Meuse has been a regular contributor on TV and radio, including CNN, CNBC and Fox.
